The water pressure in your system is below the normal range of 1 to 1.5 bar.
What F.22 means
The water pressure in your system is below the normal range of 1 to 1.5 bar.
Possible causes
- Water pressure below 1 bar
- Problem with the water pressure sensor
- Loose, disconnected, or faulty wiring for the pump or pressure sensor
- Water pressure sensor faulty
- Pump not working properly (open vented boilers only)
- Internal expansion vessel faulty
Can you fix it yourself?
If pressure is below 1 bar, you can repressurise the system yourself using the filling loop — slowly increase the pressure to between 1 and 1.5 bar. If pressure is above 1 bar and the fault persists, call a Gas Safe registered engineer.
